As we are cycling towards the southern part of the Kilimanjaro region, this tour will take you through the oldest sugar plantation located some kilometers away from the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro. We will pass a green plantation of Sugar cans and head to the arid part of Simanjiro highland on the way to Nyumba ya Mungu.

This is the dame created from colonial error to gather water flowing from the slope of Mount Kilimanjaro for hydroelectric power. This is also the source of the Pangani River is among the large and biggest rivers in Tanzania powering its water in the Indian Ocean. We can enjoy boating and fishing activities here. From there back to Moshi we come by car.
