Your memorable mountain bike tour kicks off in Moshi, where you’ll make your way through the vivid, cultural streets of the city and visit its ambitious industrial zone. Soon after, you’ll be pedaling into the Tanzanian tapestry of sugar cane plantations, dancing imperceptibly in the daylight as you cycle past their towering stems. Your guide will explain the long tradition of sugar cane planting in Tanzania whilst you ride through one of the country’s oldest and largest estates.
Your Bike tour takes you on to the ‘Old Bridge’, built to connect company land with the villages around Moshi. It’s an exciting crossing to reach the landscape of vibrant local culture beyond. You’ll soon enter a captivating wildlife conservation area, within which you might meet some interesting local characters the monkeys! Exotic species of birds flash by like bursts of the rainbow, and your expert guide will be on hand to help you identify all the incredible creatures keeping busy around your bicycles.

Best Time to Ride
The TPC Plantation Bike Tour runs year-round, but the best riding conditions are during the dry season — from June to October and December to February — when trails are dry and skies are clear for Kilimanjaro views.

Your tour starts from Moshi town, just a short ride away from the TPC Plantation gates. Pickup and drop-off can be arranged from your hotel or the Bicycle Trail Tanzania office.
