Making your way through Moshi Town, your guide’s local knowledge will bring the culture of the city alive as you bike through bustling streets moving to the authentic Moshi beat. You’ll soon be riding up to Rihada Mosque where you can admire its exquisite exterior glistening in the sunlight and learn about the Muslim faith in Moshi. From here, your tour takes you to the Hindu Temple, piercing the sky above and surrounded by a burgeoning tree line.

Your MTB tour continues on to the Clock Tower, a recognizable local landmark, and onwards to the Old Train Station, where time has stood still since 1911. This abandoned colonial station is a relic of the first railway on what was once a line controlled by the Germans. Carrying on from here, you’ll reach the resplendent Cathedral of Christ the King, where you can park up your bicycles in the stretching shadows and hear about the strong Christian traditions in Tanzania.

Making your way onwards to the Memorial Market, you’ll weave your mountain bike like a thread through the textile and clothing stalls which provide bursts of color as you bike past. Upon reaching Moshi Airport, you’ll be awe-struck by unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro and its famous peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. Stop for spectacular photographs of Tanzania that you’ll treasure forever, before making your way back through the municipality you have a new-found appreciation for.
